Subject: Hello from Michigan
Dear BCIS teachers and staff
Hello, this is Win, Saharat Rodjanamongkol, class of 2011! How is everyone? Everything is going fine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Here is a nice, peaceful town with no big buildings and there are trees everywhere. Transportation here mainly relies on bus in which come according to schedule and the traffic here is good. Amazing thing is that car actually stops for people to cross the road. People here are nice and friendly, not really like those in the movies. Also when it comes to football, people are really into it. Everyone would wear yellow shirt to cheer for Michigan team. Also there are really many activities here. I must say that everything here is expensive, especially the food. One meal may cost 200 - 300 baht, and the quantity is double of Thailand. But there are also many big sales and free items here. The weather here was hot in the beginning and then it becomes cold when it's cloudy and starts raining. I just finished first week of class and the lessons are still pretty easy since this is still the beginning of the term. Everyone says it gets harder as the term progress. The teaching style here is similar to our school. They have lecture, class discussion, group projects, and others like our school. I need to thank all the teachers for preparing me for college.
